Arwen's mount is NOT Asfaloth--Asfaloth does not have such a dark mane. Eowyn's
mount is named Windfola. The hobbits' ponies are named Sharp-ears, Swish-tail,
Bumpkin, Wise-nose, and White-socks, owned in the books by Merry. Frodo rode
a pony named Strider from Minas Tirith to the Shire. Tom Bombadil owned a
horse named Fatty Lumpkin, friends with the hobbits' ponies. King Theoden
gave Merry a pony named Stybba when the hobbit became his esquire.
